Well-known philosopher and writer Voltaire once said: ," It is an infantile superstition of the human spirit that virginity would be thought a virtue and not the barrier that separates ignorance from knowledge."
IS VIRGINITY OVERRATED ? HOW? Yes, it is Overrated because, WE ARE LIVING IN THE MYTH. What was once considered a great deal has now become a word that's used very commonly and mostly among, girls ! The word is "Hymenoplasty". They all live in the myth that a broken hymen is because of intercourse, and they are getting it done because their prospective husbands will not accept them if the truth about their hymen was out.
Scientifically, hymen can rupture for the following reasons:
- Active swimmer
- Horse riding
- Riding bikes
- Athletic person
- Sex
Not only sex, but a lot of other reasons can cause the rupture. At the same time the most commonest reason for the rupture still remains to be SEX.
BREAK THE ICE!
It's important to discuss, this is not something you run away from, this is something, you talk. Why we should talk? Because A hymen can be ruptured due to several reasons and sexual intercourse is just one of them. But, girls and boys know of only one reason and insist on getting it restored. This is the reason, why sex education becomes so important." Speaking of confusion that resides, not only in the minds of youngsters, but also parents", Parents themselves are often confused as to what is the right age for them to talk 'sex' with their children. The only solution for this being, meet a counselor and take suggestions, and talk to your kids about the ill effects of the Pre-marital sex.'
[AM not here to support pre-marital sex, MY CONCERN is ignorance about the topic among young boys and girls , hypocrisy and the confusion among parents.]
" It is one of the superstitions of the human mind to have imagined that virginity could be a virtue "
-Voltaire
