Sometimes be a "LONER" !

"Nature"

Have you ever felt the silence when the light goes off?, the silence when the door, behind you shuts? There is something in that moment of silence, there is something absurd but at the same time something comforting.

In the year 2014,Bollywood has seen a series of woman centered movies.Movies celebrating womanhood, movies on women related issues, movies on women in politics or as simple as celebrating their aspirations.Movies made in this genre has not only got them into the game but also the name and fame.

Movie review: "Bobby Jasoos"

Bobby-Jasoos

Vidya Balan starrer "Bobby Jasoos" is a story of young girl who aspires to become a detective and her journey in becoming one. Its a clean entertainer. Set up in the oldest city of Hyderabad, the Urdu influenced Hindi, the colourful Salwaars, Vidya's amazing acting, and her different disguises,Fathers concern and love, all of these keeps you stuck to the movie. You get to see the amazing Vidya Balan,at ease with the Hyderabadi Hindi.

The story evolves around Bobby "the wannabe detective" and Aneez Khan, who hires her and gives her,her first assignment and many more after those. The story keeps you stuck to your seats in the first half,However if you are expecting the suspense in the movie just Like "Kahaani",then you will be disappointing yourself. The second Half of the movie is a bit slow.

On the whole, the aspiration of a young Hyderbadi, lower middle class girl and her journey through it, is a one time watch.

Acting: 3 on 5

Story line: 2 and half on 5

Story telling: 2 and half

What is a Supermoon?

"Supermoon"

It was recently that i came to know that a word like Supermoon existed.I was ignorant about anything related to Astronomy, all my life.

Recently there were photos all over the news feed in my Facebook which did, mention the word "SUPERMOON". At first it did take me to surprise,so i went out and checked as to what is it all about. When i couldn't make any significant difference,i googled.

For all problems in your life "GOOGLE" :).

DEFINITION:The Moon's distance varies each month between approximately 357,000 kilometers (222,000 mi) and 406,000 km (252,000 mi) due to its elliptical orbit around the earth (distances given are center-to-center).

According to NASA, a full moon at perigee is up to 14% larger and 30% brighter than one at its farthest point, or apogee.

Let me put it in simple words,Its the coincidence, when a full moon comes close to earth in its elliptical orbit resulting in making it look very big when seen from earth.Probably,I would have been able to appreciate it,if i ever had spent time watching moon.

The association of the Moon with both oceanic and crustal tides has led to claims that the Supermoon phenomenon may be associated with increased risk of earthquakes and volcanic eruptions, but there has been, no evidence established to support the same.

There has been claims that natural disasters such as Tsunami in Tohoku in 2011,and Tsunami and Earthquake in Indian ocean,in 2004 were caused by the Supermoon. These were linked 1-2 week period surrounding a Supermoon.

The most recent occurrence was on August 10, 2014. The next and closest Supermoon of 2014 will be on September 9.

"Anandmela- Joyful Festival Of India"

Anandmela Just how the aroma of the coffee can refresh you, there was something, I experienced this week. Something refreshing, something soulfully making me feel, I was an Indian. After a year of stay in US, I rarely see, young Indians in Indian attire but that day, I could see women and young girls in kurti’s, kali’s and sari’s.
